Here at GingerVideo we are delighted to announce that we have a new addition to the team!
We are thrilled to welcome Emily to the team as our Digital Marketing Assistant. She’ll be supporting Jo with all things marketing as well as working on social media.
The whole team are really happy Emily has joined us, she brings with her a passion for Creativity and has a very keen interest in the Marketing and social media world.
We thought we’d find out what makes her tick by asking her a few questions!
What is your role at GingerVideo?
I am the Digital Marketing Assistant.
What have you enjoyed most since starting at GingerVideo?
For me it would probably be getting to learn all the different elements of the role. I like to be kept busy, so being able to always have things to do every day that are all different, the whole experience so far has just been really enjoyable for me.
How would your friends describe you?
Clumsy is most likely the first one that would come to their minds, i’m always tripping up or over things, however this leads to me being quite entertaining as well as a result, so i guess funny counts as another word that would come to mind.
What is one thing you’ve learnt since starting at GingerVideo?
I’ve liked learning about the behind the scenes of Marketing within a business and how i can put loads of little pieces together and make it something beneficial that the business can use.
What is your favourite film?
I’m a big fan of any Romance Dramas or Horror films like ‘Safe Haven’ and ‘Insidious’, so i completely conflict my own interests but it’s what i like so i stick with it.
Who would you choose to represent you in a film about your life?
I would love someone like Lily James – she’s so diverse with all the different characters that she can portray so i think she could play me really well.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I like to spend time with my friends. I also enjoy singing with my guitar and baking for my family.
What is your pet hate?
That’s hard, I think it would just be any lack of communication, it’s really a pet hate for me when I’m trying to organise something or talk to someone an they just don’t seem interested or focused.
Do you have any guilty pleasures?
I love anything to do with a period dramas, ‘Downton Abbey’, ‘Victoria’, ‘Peaky Blinders’ … so that could probably be in the guilty pleasure category, purely because they aren’t something your typical 18 year old would love to watch and be invested in.
