We’re back with our latest instalment of Behind The Camera, and let’s just say this one crept up on us! It’s been a busy month here at GingerVideo!

In the month of March, we spent a lot of time in our Green Screen studio in Lambourn and one of the GingerVideo team got married – busy, busy, busy!

Filming with Clients

We’ve been working on a whole series of videos for one of our new clients. The project has been mainly Green Screen filming and it’s been great to work with professional actors on this project.

The Production Team also travelled to Epsom to film with another new client of ours, Artifax. The guys hit some unexpected traffic on the M4; in the picture above you can see Neil stood out the car! A man in the car behind actually took to sunbathing on his car’s bonnet whilst waiting for the traffic to clear!

Artifax are a leading provider of event, venue and arts management software for the performing arts, cultural venues, conference centres, managers and festivals.

We filmed a Website Homepage Video at their offices with our portable Green Screen and we’ll soon be starting a Whiteboard Animation Video with them too!

March was also the month that Dan, our senior videographer and editor, got married! All the team at GingerVideo are wishing the new Mr & Mrs a lifetime full of love and happiness!

Latest Video Marketing News & Blogs

This month we expressed our love for shorter videos! On average, a human’s attention span is now shorter than that of a goldfish. A study from Microsoft reveals that we now have an attention span of 8 seconds; so assuming you’re human, a goldfish has a longer attention span at 9 seconds.

Long gone are lengthy videos listing 101 reasons why someone should buy your product; how do you connect with an audience that can easily lose interest after 8 seconds?

There’s been quite a few new introductions to the world of video production and video marketing, including Apple’s introduction of it’s latest app ‘Clips’.  The app allows you to combine videos, images and audio into video projects and makes using video in marketing easy and accessible to almost everyone!

YouTube also announced the departure of its Annotations feature, in favour of Cards and End Screens. It’s great to see video platforms updating their platforms to adapt to the increase of people watching and uploading video.
